At Revive Esthetics, your safety, comfort, and results are our top priority. To ensure you get the very best from your Tixel Skin Rejuvenation treatment, it’s important to follow the pre- and post-treatment instructions below.

What is Tixel?

Tixel® is an advanced, award-winning skin rejuvenation technology that uses pure natural heat (not laser or light) to deeply stimulate collagen, resurface the skin, and improve tone, texture, and tightness—with significantly less discomfort and downtime than traditional fractional lasers.

🔸 Before Your Tixel Treatment

To prepare your skin and optimise your results, please follow these guidelines:

✅ 7 Days Before:

  • Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, or fake tan.

  • Discontinue any active skincare products (retinoids, acids, Vitamin C).

  • Avoid waxing, peels, or laser treatments in the area.

✅ 3 Days Before:

  • Keep skin well-hydrated—healthy skin responds better to treatment.

  • Let us know if you are prone to cold sores (antiviral medication may be needed).

  • Ensure skin is free from active breakouts or infections.

✅ On the Day:

  • Arrive with a clean face—no makeup or skincare.

  • Avoid alcohol or intense physical activity beforehand.

  • We’ll apply a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort during treatment.

🔸 After Your Tixel Treatment

It’s completely normal to experience redness, warmth, or mild swelling—similar to sunburn—after your session. This is part of the healing and collagen renewal process.

✅ First 24–72 Hours:

  • Expect redness, tightness, or a sunburn-like sensation.

  • Do not apply skincare or makeup for 24 hours unless advised.

  • Avoid touching, rubbing, or exfoliating the area.

  • You may use a thermal water spray (e.g., Avène) to soothe the skin.

✅ Days 3–7:

  • Gentle cleansing may resume after 48–72 hours.

  • Use a barrier-repair or healing cream (we’ll recommend one).

  • No exfoliants, retinol, acids, or active skincare during healing.

  • Do not pick at dryness or micro-crusting—this is part of the renewal process.

☀️ Important: Sun Protection

Tixel-treated skin is highly sensitive to UV rays. To prevent pigmentation and support healing:

  • Apply SPF 50 daily once healing allows.

  • Avoid sun exposure for 7–10 days post-treatment.

  • Continue sun protection for 4–6 weeks after.

⏳ When Will I See Results?

Tixel results build gradually as new collagen forms:

  • Early results visible after 7–10 days.

  • Full results develop over 6–8 weeks.

  • A course of 3–4 treatments, spaced 6–8 weeks apart, is typically recommended for optimal skin rejuvenation.

💎 Enhance Your Results

For even greater results, consider pairing Tixel with:

  • Skinade Collagen Drinks to support healing from within

  • LED Light Therapy or Oxygen Infusion post-recovery

  • A personalised medical-grade skincare plan
